Project Deuteronomy 28:12

Debt Free Campaign 2019

The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.
— Deuteronomy 28:12

As we approach the year 2020 and prepare to celebrate our 115th year of Christian service here in Brooklyn, we want to celebrate in a meaningful way. Project Deuteronomy 28:12 is a culmination of our debt free vision. We have worked hard to make necessary improvements to our building, provide transportation to our members in need and upgrade our technology, but that has caused us to take on a significant amount of debt. Our hope is to start our 115th year of worship no longer serving as borrowers, but being able to continue to provide excellent and relevant ministry to our church family and community. As we seek to break the shackles of debt as a church family we are also working toward building wealth within our church families so that the generations following us will be financially and spiritually grounded. Join us as we seek to nurture a generation of lenders and be the church that God has called us to be.

The tithe belongs to the Lord because the bible says, ‘all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land or fruit of the tree, it is the Lord’s. It is holy to the Lord.
